Hello again!When I sent my first newsletter in 2019 I had hoped it would be a monthly endeavor (or at least quarterly). Here I am 4 (!!) years later and I have learned a lot about setting realistic expectations. I also became Board Certified as a Health & Wellness Coach and have discovered a deep sense of purpose with this new set of tools. In coaching I get to engage in creative collaboration with my clients rather than an expert/student dynamic. I learn so much in each session and I am inspired by the progress my clients are able to make. My website has been updated to reflect this evolution and you can schedule a session with me directly on the homepage. I am excited for what comes next. We are 6 weeks into the New Year and this is when many of us falter in our resolutions; The novelty wears off and the motivation to stick to new habits or avoid unwanted behaviors starts to wane. Rather than setting a list of goals or guidelines, I have adopted the practice from Gretchen Rubin of naming a one-word theme for the year. 2022 was CAPACITY—to remind me to build towards greater tolerance of both success and discomfort, and 2023 is EXPAND—to fill myself up with myself.
